Welcome to the Northern Trail District website of the Three Fires Council. Three Fires council serves a wide span of communities in parts of DuPage, Kane, DeKalb, and Kendall Counties, and serves 11 different districts. Northern Trail District is located in the Northeast corner of the council. It serves the communities of Addison, Bensenville, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, Hanover Park (east), Itasca, Keeneyville, Medinah, Roselle, and Wood Dale.
The district serves approximately 2,000 youth through its Packs, Troops, Crews, Scoutreach, and Special Needs units. District Commissioners are volunteers who are assigned units to serve and make sure they are running well and are there to help units with whatever they need. They are led by a District Commissioner.
For more specific help, units may turn to District Committees who have a more focused knowledge about various Scouting topics (i.e training, advancement, camping, etc.). The committees are led by a District Chairman. Together, the District Commissioner, District Chairman, and District Executive compose the District Key 3 and work to lead the district and help the units and district however they can.

Camp Card Packets will be delivered to your February roundtable for your Scouts to sell! Overall, Scouts sell Camp Cards and learn how to “earn their way” (self-reliance), and it teaches them the value of planning, organizing, developing and practicing new skills in sales and marketing. The end result – increased self-confidence from achieving personal levels of success.
